Send the exact assignment or rubric from your course of study and a custom sample written to it lands in 24 to 48 hours, the first one free. C207 is WGU’s Data-Driven Decision Making course. It centers on turning a supplied business data set into a defended recommendation, using descriptive statistics, forecasting and simple optimization. What C207 is really about
C207 is the quantitative spine of the WGU MBA, and it is the course most people arrive at with a spreadsheet already open. You are given company data and asked to do real work with it: describe what the figures say, project them forward, test a scenario, and then answer the business question the data was gathered to settle. The statistics themselves are not advanced. What the course measures is whether you can carry a number out of a calculation and into a sentence a manager could act on without losing the reasoning in between. Since pacing is cohort-free, the limiting factor is usually the writing rather than the arithmetic.
The written work goes to an evaluator who scores it aspect by aspect against the rubric and sends it back if any single aspect is unmet, which is routine here and usually narrow. Some versions pair that written work with an objective assessment, and an OA is a proctored exam: this library covers written performance assessments only and does nothing at all with exams. What returns most often is not a wrong calculation but an unsupported sentence, a figure quoted without saying how it was produced, or an exhibit dropped into the paper with no reading attached to it. Every number should sit beside the method that made it.
What C207’s tasks ask for
In most versions the course asks for two things in sequence. The first is analysis: clean and describe the supplied figures, run the technique the task names, and report results in a form a reader can follow, with the method stated and the output shown rather than implied. The second is a decision: take those results and tell leadership what to do, in a memo or report addressed to somebody with the authority to act on it. Rubric aspects tend to be written around both halves separately, so an excellent analysis attached to a vague closing paragraph still comes back for revision. Write the recommendation as a sentence with a number inside it.
Why C207 tasks come back for revision
Two failures account for most returns here, and they are opposite ends of one gap. The first is an analysis that stops at description: the mean, the trend and the forecast are all reported correctly, the paper ends, and the decision those figures imply is never actually stated. The second is a recommendation with nothing underneath it, a confident closing paragraph advising the company to expand into the second region while the forecast that would justify expanding sits three pages back, unreferenced. An evaluator reading the recommendation aspect wants the number in the recommendation itself. Name the figure, name what it implies, then name the action, in that order and in the same paragraph.

C207 Task 1 example
The regression business question: a staffing decision turned into a question about two variables, with data, hypotheses and how the output would be used. Full sample paper, annotated.
C207 Task 2 example
In many versions a decision memo turning that analysis into one recommendation for leadership. On request, free, 24-48h.

Using a C207 sample the right way
These samples earn their keep on the second half, where analysis becomes advice. Read how a result is restated in business language without losing its value, how uncertainty gets admitted without hedging the recommendation into nothing, and how an exhibit is referenced inside the sentence that uses it. Then run your own figures, because the data you were issued is yours and the output has to be yours too. Send us the exact task instructions and rubric you received, and the first sample we write against them carries no fee and arrives in 24-48h.
How these samples are written
Method, in one line: aspects first, structure from the aspects, artifacts consistent, format exact. Both C-code and D-code spellings resolve here because students search both. Your free request is drafted against what your degree plan actually shows.
C207 questions, answered
My calculations are correct but the paper still came back. What is usually missing?
Most often the decision. A submission can describe the data accurately, run the right technique and stop there, leaving the reader to infer what the business should do. Description and recommendation are scored as separate aspects, so an analysis that never states the choice it implies leaves one of them unmet no matter how clean the math is.
How specific does the recommendation have to be?
Specific enough that somebody could act on it Monday. Advising the company to consider growth options is not a recommendation; advising it to add the second production line in the third quarter, because the forecast puts demand above current capacity by roughly that margin, is one. The figure belongs in the recommendation sentence, not only in the analysis.
The rubric and the task instructions use different words for the same thing. Which do I follow?
Write the paper from the instructions and check it against the aspects, because the aspects are what an evaluator scores. Where the two diverge, satisfy the aspect wording explicitly, even if that means repeating yourself. If the gap looks substantive rather than cosmetic, your course instructor can tell you which reading the current version expects.
